OLIVE HARVEST & OLIVE OIL PRODUCTION
Have you ever thought about what factors determine the taste of olive oil? Obviously the 100-200 years of historical journey of olive and olive trees… The slope of the planting land, the spacing of the trees, the amount and direction of sun and wind exposure, the size of the tree, the soil composition (toughness, lime, stoniness, the percentage of all)… In short, each olive has its own unique combination. Therefore, know-how, natural conditions and coincidences are involved in the production of olive oil. The guests of ZIGO’S Hotel can join our olive harvest in September and participate in olive oil production experiencing the phenols, pulp, bitterness and pungency of olives in olive oil factory. Definitely pesticide-free, local, and collected as early as possible and in the best conditions and cold-pressed. Make your fresh bread ready for it…

With a longer time convenient for you, as small private groups, you can collect new memories with a small fishing boat, or a gulet cruise along the beautiful landscapes in the western coast of Turkey.

Enjoy a serene sporting experience without getting tired, hitting anyone, or sharing the swim lanes. The nearby Sarigerme beach is one of the Blue Flag certified beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Guests can reach the calm sea from the flat sands, with the help from our hotel’s Butler service, guests can choose from a variety of transport options, such as bicycle rental or a private chauffeur. The nearby Dalaman River offers different experiences of rafting or fishing.
